When Tiffany & Co does something for the first time, the world takes notice. And so it was in Bangkok, this past August, when the American jeweller unveiled Legendary Legacy, its inaugural exhibition in Thailand. The venue? The gleaming new One Bangkok Tower 4, a monument of modernity befitting the house’s own mythic grandeur. From 21 August to 7 September 2025, what unfurled was not a mere showcase of jewels—it was a symphony of heritage, artistry, and the sublime audacity of creative vision.

At its heart stood the maison’s eternal dialogue with Jean Schlumberger, that peerless dream-maker who turned whimsy into high art. For Tiffany, he imagined birds that shimmered, flowers that burned with life, and creatures that danced in gemstones—each jewel a fantasia, coveted and cherished across the twentieth century.

Here, his genius reawakened in a roll call of icons: the Elephant Head brooch, ablaze in diamonds, emeralds, and turquoise; the 1941 Trophée de Vaillance clip—designed for Diana Vreeland herself—a fusion of sculpture and jewel; the Big Bird clip, joyous in its gemstone plumage; and the ravishing Hedges and Flowers necklace, its yellow sapphires, turquoise, and diamonds arranged like a garden wrought in sunlight.

And then—the crescendo. Tiffany’s supreme emblem, the 128.54-carat Tiffany Diamond, appeared in all its incandescent glory—presented for the first time in Thailand and Southeast Asia. Perched in an inspired reimagining of Schlumberger’s legendary Bird on a Rock setting, it stood as both climax and cornerstone: a jewel of cultural resonance, worn by icons such as Audrey Hepburn, Lady Gaga, and here, exalted as the enduring marriage of innovation and legacy.

“Bringing Jean Schlumberger’s masterpieces to Thailand is a moment of deep pride. His work represents Tiffany at its most daring and poetic—where art, nature and fantasy converge. This exhibition is a celebration of that spirit, in a country that shares our reverence for artistry and wonder,” said Anthony Ledru, president & chief executive officer of Tiffany & Co. “The inclusion of the Tiffany Diamond, our most iconic and storied gemstone, marks a historic moment, symbolising the pinnacle of our legacy in craftsmanship, innovation, and gemological excellence.”

Legendary Legacy was no simple parade of beauty—it was a love letter to imagination itself. It reminded us, with grandeur and gravity, that true luxury transcends time. It is not merely worn—it is remembered, reinterpreted, and revered, forever.
