An 18th-century Irish village, Lyons Village in Celbridge, has been put on the market for €20 million (£17.5 million).

The historic 20-acre estate features 47 bedrooms, a library, a billiards room, a pub, and a five-star hotel with an award-winning spa and dining venues.

Located in the Kildare countryside, 30 minutes from Dublin, the property includes gardens, orchards, a lake, and stables, and is situated near an early medieval royal site.

The village was purchased and restored in 1992 by Ryanair co-founder Tony Ryan, whose family still owns a separate estate house not included in the sale.

Estate agents highlight the exceptional rarity of acquiring an entire historic village, suggesting it could appeal to an ultra-high net worth individual, a hospitality developer, or for long-term heritage investment.
