Grab the shades, florals, and popcorn bucket, literally, because The Devil Wears Prada 2 is returning with a runway-ready handbag the internet is losing its mind over. Here’s everything we know about the genius collectible, from who made it to where you can get your hands on one.

The hype for The Devil Wears Prada 2 has officially reached fever pitch! Last week, 20th Century Studios set the internet on fire when it dropped a teaser trailer for the upcoming film, featuring previously unseen footage and more iconic zingers that we’ll be quoting for the next long while.

Fresh teaser, fresh fashion

The latest teaser kicks off with a bang, juxtaposing Meryl Streep’s iconic she-devil Miranda Priestly against a dishevelled Andy (Anne Hathaway), setting the tone for the sequel whilst throwing back to its 2006 predecessor. What follows is the perfect montage of scenes from the high-powered world of haute couture, from fashion-decked power walks in Runway’s hallowed halls and helicopter rides to tongue-in-cheek editorial meetings where Miranda continues to walk the narrow line between ‘HR complaint’ and ‘Boss who’s hard on everybody but also herself’.

It’s fast-paced, it’s quippy, it’s quotable, and the internet is already obsessed.

As expected, the stars are impeccably styled. Stanley Tucci retains his charming composure as the lovely Nigel Kipling, whilst Emily Blunt’s Emily Charlton continues to be as sassy as she is a sharp dresser. Meanwhile, Hathaway’s Andy has evidently blossomed into a personal style driven by experience and maturity, and the beautiful Simone Ashley, who newly joined the cast for the sequel, steals every scene with her cheekbones and a face card that never declines.

On-screen, both vibes and fashion are impeccable. The off-screen experience, however, is shaping up to be just as iconic, with a hot new drop.

US Cinemas unveil popcorn handbag bucket for The Devil Wears Prada 2

Movies and popcorn go together like florals and spring, but when it’s The Devil Wears Prada 2 you’re watching, you’ve got to kick it up a notch. Speaking to the hearts of fashionistas, AMC Theatres has unveiled a popcorn handbag bucket for The Devil Wears Prada 2, a movie-exclusive concession piece that will be available to moviegoers along with other themed merchandise.

The brilliantly-conceived collectible is the brainchild of Golden Link Inc., a ‘one stop shop solution for film-related concessions and promotions’. Taking the form of a structured red leather tote popular in the catalogues of luxury high fashion leather goods brands, this collectible tote conveniently fits a large serving of popcorn, which makes it just as convenient as it is classy. Boasting dual top handles and gold-toned hardware including a keyring charm, a miniature high heel, and a hotel key tag, the bag has quickly gone viral online, with fans of the franchise hailing its release as a genius marketing move.

Notably, the Devil Wears Prada 2 popcorn handbag bucket is not exclusive to AMC, which means viewers in other theatres can still enjoy their snacks in style. According to reports, other collectibles on offer include a clear double-wall tumbler decorated with a rain-of-accessories graphic and a black popcorn tin with a sleek city skyline silhouette. Additionally, American ticketing company Fandango also announced a USD 50 bundle that includes one ticket for the movie, the popcorn purse, and a limited-edition promotional Runway magazine. The bundle has been sold out as of March 12, 2026.

Following AMC’s unveiling of the product, fellow US cinema chain Cinemark has also revealed that the bag will be available at its outlets, sharing that it can be refilled for free on the same day of purchase.

Unfortunately, international fans will have to hold their breaths, as no official announcements have been made for the collectibles’ release beyond the United States.
