Adidas always goes all out when it comes to football. And while you’re stocking up on official jerseys ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026, there’s one special collaboration that avid fans will have their eyes on. American streetwear brand Kith is teaming up with the G.O.A.T. himself to release a new Adidas kit collection. Here’s what’s in store from the Kith x Messi x Adidas collaboration.
A tribute to the legend, the Kith x Messi Adidas kit
Kith’s founder, Ronnie Fieg, dropped a subtle teaser on his Instagram. The photos show just enough to spark curiosity while keeping most details under wraps to build suspense. But this isn’t just any teaser. It’s for a premium capsule collection with none other than legendary Argentine striker Lionel Messi himself. The three-way collaboration between Kith, Messi, and Adidas is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated sportswear drops of the year.
Among the collection, the standouts are, of course, the jerseys. One features the classic Argentine blue and white stripes, complete with Messi‘s No. 19. While the stripes are a classic, the other colourways look just as premium, including navy, cream, and black. But the collection isn’t expected to stop at just the jerseys. Ronnie Fieg’s post also subtly hints at exclusive footwear drops (another pair of iconic Gazelles, perhaps?), along with tracksuit-inspired sportswear and casual tees. Given Kith’s luxurious appeal, we expect the Messi collaboration to look trendy yet premium, using materials built to last.
The drop ties in with Kith’s 15th anniversary and the 20th anniversary of Messi’s first World Cup appearance. And with the 2026 World Cup widely expected to be Lionel Messi’s final tournament with Argentina, it truly feels like the end of an era.
