According to YB Loh Sze Yee, the Chairman of Perak Tourism, Investment and Corridor Development Committee, that “Usually when tourists come to the state capital, Ipoh, they only go to places within the city. Now we want to focus on expanding the tourism culture within the greater Ipoh area such as Gopeng and Batu Gajah. Among the plans are to expand the Hop-On Hop-Off bus route for the Gopeng-Batu Gajah tourism cluster. This outlet is a combination between entertainment and education suitable for school children.”
