A thrilling final round could be in store at Royal Birkdale as The Open reaches a conclusion.
Sam Burns of the United States takes a two-shot lead at 10-under into Sunday, playing in the final group with New Zealand’s Ryan Fox after the pair each equalled the major record with rounds of 62 on Friday and Saturday respectively. Si Woo Kim also begins at -8.
There are plenty of players lurking within range, though, with Bryson DeChambeau still right in the mix despite receiving a contentious two-stroke penalty – and drawing the ire of Rory McIlroy.
