
Kota Kinabalu: The State Department of Culture and Arts’ (JKKN) Kumpulan Bimbingan Seni Cemerlang (KBSC) is gunning for a spot at the grand finals of the National Children’s Dance Championships (KTKKM) which is set to take place in Kuala Lumpur on Dec 17-18.
“This year, we hope KBSC Sabah under the guidance of Zakaria Md Daud can finally clinch the gold after their impressive performances in previous contests which saw them won silver and bronze,” said JKKN Director, Jasmi Rasid, after presenting award certificates for 29 KBSC JKKN members for participating in various cultural art activities throughout the year.
This year, KBSC JKKN Sabah will perform the “Sumiling Do Kang Kang Kaput” dance of the Murut Binta ethnic.
