The Coldplay concert in Hong Kong is scheduled for April 8, April 9, April 11 and April 12 at the Kai Tak Stadium. Originally, the band was only supposed to perform for three days. However, due to (unsurprising) popular demand, they added one more day.

For the Standing Zone, only attendees aged 12 or above and with a height of 140 cm or above are allowed. There is no ticket redemption service at the venue, so make sure to redeem your ticket at nearby Cityline Ticketing Kiosks before the concert.

Attendees should arrive as early as possible to ensure ease of access to the concert venue when the doors open. Also, keep in mind that Kai Tak Stadium is a new venue so it’s best to be familiar with the area beforehand. While the concert starts at 8 pm, doors should ideally be open by 5 or 6 pm.

More detailed information regarding admission arrangements, important notices, and traffic services will be available closer to the show date. So, stay tuned for more information in the coming days.

How to get to the venue?

MTR: The easiest way to get to the venue is to take the MTR. Concertgoers can alight at Kai Tak Station, Sung Wong Toi Station, or To Kwa Wan Station on the Tuen Ma Line. Sung Wong Toi provides easier access to the stadium. However, it is also a 15–20-minute walk from To Kwa Wan Station.

Bus: Those who prefer to take the bus can get off at Kowloon City Bus Interchange, Argyle Street Playground, or Kowloon City Ferry Bus Terminus.

Ferry: Additionally, a ferry from North Point to Kowloon Ferry Pier is also a viable option. The ferry terminal is about a 10–15-minute walk away to the stadium.

Taxi: Taxi is the fastest option to consider. There are designated taxi and private car pick-up and drop-off areas within the stadium. However, to avoid traffic congestion, these areas will not be available during events. It’s advisable to pick a landmark such as Kowloon City Ferry Bus Terminus to alight.

What to wear and what to bring to the Coldplay concert in Hong Kong?

The four-day Coldplay concert in Hong Kong is in spring, and the temperature can range from 20 degrees to 28 degrees. The concert is at night so there’s no need to worry about shade. Dress comfortably, especially those in the Standing zone. Refrain from bringing outside food. There are plenty of places to eat around the area such as Airside mall, Kai Tak Mall, Kowloon City, or To Kwa Wan. Arrive early so you have time for dinner.

No professional cameras and recording devices are allowed. Other things not to bring include umbrellas, folding chairs, selfie sticks, tripods, and flammable items. A bag search is conducted before concertgoers can enter the venue. Opt for a small bag so you can enjoy the concert comfortably.

Lastly, make sure your phone is fully charged so you can capture memories throughout the day. Otherwise, bring a power bank.
