Boasting a premium health club, cocktail bar and stylish brasserie, the five-star hotel is a central retreat with an intimate feel
Location
The hotel is a five-minute walk from both Oxford Street and Bond Street (where the nearest Tube station is). It’s set at the end of Marylebone High Street, and here you’ll find Edwardian bookshop, Daunt Books, and other independent shops. Art museum The Wallace Collection is a five-minute walk from the hotel, while Regent’s Park is a 10-minute walk.
The vibe

Although it’s set within a modern 1960s building, The Marylebone is flanked by Georgian-era townhouses, and this contemporary, yet classic combination sets the tone for the overall vibe. The hotel exudes style, elegance and five-star luxury and is a welcoming (rather than intimidating) environment. Lounge and bar areas have cosy corners to hunker down in, with eclectic design nods found throughout. Standout details include marble tables, jewel-toned velvet chairs, vibrant modern artwork and dark wood panelling. There are areas filled with natural light and those that have a moodier, glamorous feel.
Service
Service is efficient, thorough and warm, without team members excessively hovering or being overbearing. While being welcomed by reception and offered help with exploring the hotel’s amenities, I also saw the team talking fellow guests through local recommendations and offering to arrange theatre tickets. In the Cocktail Bar and 108 Brasserie, staff were knowledgeable with menu recommendations and provided dish adaptations according to dietary requirements.
Bed and bath

There are 248 rooms in total, including five luxury suites, three terrace suites and one loft suite. All bedrooms have luxury features like a Nespresso coffee machine, marble in the bathroom and TV with Chromecast – perfect to stream shows from your own Netflix account. Rooms feel light and airy, with a mix of muted tones and pops of colour, plus contrasting textures from statement headboards and mirrored tables to ornate light fittings, tactile bedspreads, and sleek modern furniture. Heavy curtains block out the bright city lights for a good night’s sleep. Rooms overlook the Marylebone streets below, adding character and charm to your stay.
Bathrooms vary by room, with some offering both a bath and shower and others a standalone shower only. You’ll find toiletries from swish brand Editions De Perfums Frederic Malle, which adds to the luxe experience.

Food and drink
For drinks and light meals, The Cocktail Bar is a sophisticated spot complete with a marble-topped bar, comfy plush seats with cushions and gold detailing. The seasonal cocktail menu features signature drinks designed by the team, plus delicious non-alcoholic options. The food menu includes a charcuterie board, salads, hearty sandwiches (think steak, classic club, and more), and standalone servings of triple-cooked chips.

108 Brasserie is a chic eatery that’s ideal for everything from a business lunch to a birthday dinner. It combines fine dining with a warm, buzzy atmosphere, and this is where breakfast is served, too. The menu is marked for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. Dishes can also be adapted to suit dietary requirements, for example, with gluten-free bread available.
Open for all-day dining, lunch and dinner choices include beef tartare, crab crumpet, beef and Guinness pie, Thai curry, risotto, and steak. Dessert includes crème brulee, crumble, and a cheese board. Meanwhile, the breakfast spread includes fresh fruit, pastries and cooked plates. Dishes at 108 Brasserie are beautifully presented and satisfyingly filling.
Facilities
The hotel has a members-only Third Space Health Club, which guests can access complimentary. The sizeable area includes weight machines, training areas, and a Power Plate zone. You can also enjoy fitness classes and use the 16m pool, saunas, and steam room.
