A YouTuber in China has gone viral for building something no one expected: a mini underground subway station for his Maine Coon cats.

In a video uploaded to his channel Xing’s World, which has hundreds of thousands of subscribers, the underground station looked almost lifelike, complete with platforms, escalators, and train doors.

Viewers were left amazed as the tiny “metro” resembled a real system, only built to scale for cats.

From idea to reality

Xing revealed that the idea came after repeated requests from fans who wanted to see something truly unique for his pets. However, turning the idea into reality wasn’t easy.

The project stretched over four months as he painstakingly designed and tested each part of the build before it could operate smoothly.

During the process, Xing admitted he faced two major stumbling blocks.

At first, there were two challenges I couldn’t figure out; how to open the train doors and platform doors simultaneously when the train arrived, and how to build a functioning escalator,” he explained.

Despite these hurdles, he pressed on with confidence.

His persistence eventually paid off when the final result looked not only realistic but also featured welcome announcements for “passengers”.

To top it off, Xing himself appeared like a “giant” when sitting cross-legged inside the miniature station, adding a humorous twist to the spectacle.

A pattern of creativity

This wasn’t Xing’s first ambitious build.

Over the years, he has created a series of elaborate projects for his pets, including a Cybertruck, a spa, a four-wheeled “Cyberquad” bike, a supermarket, a garage, and even a theatre.

Each project reflects his dedication to giving his cats fun and unique experiences.

Giving back to the community

Beyond entertaining his pets, Xing has also used his skills to help animals in need.

In one project, he managed to construct 100 insulated cat shelters in just 48 hours to provide warmth and safety for stray cats in his neighbourhood proving that his creativity extends beyond his own home.
