Prospective Manchester United owner Thomas Zilliacus has spoken about the takeover talks surrounding the club.
Zilliacus wants to buy United with the help of the club's many millions of worldwide supporters.
However, his bid was knocked back by The Raine Group, who are managing the sale on behalf of the Glazer family that owns the club.
Writing on social media, Zilliacus said: "Media claims that Glazers are preparing to invite a third round of bids.
For the sake of United let's hope it is not true. There are 3 serious bidders.
Negotiate with them face-to-face until a deal is reached. This has been going on too long already."
