TAWAU: More than 10,000 Muslims of all ages and diverse backgrounds participated in the procession and assembly to celebrate Maulidur Rasul s.a.w at Tawau level on Saturday.
The gathering began as early as 6am starting from the Tawau Municipal Council Square (MPT) and marching towards the Tawau Community Hall for the opening event.
Sabah Youth and Sports Assistant Minister Datuk Andi Muhammad Suryady Bandy led the march of 56 contingents from all over the districts of Tawau and Kalabakan.
