KOTA KINABALU: Three locations in the State have been selected for the Rahmah Ramadan Bazaar (BRR) initiative implementation, said Sabah Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Director Georgie Abas.
Georgie said the locations are BRR Lintasan Deasoka (Kota Kinabalu), BRR in front of Sabindo Plaza (Tawau) and BRR Juara Sport Arena Ketiau (Putatan).
"BRR is the government's latest initiative to reduce the cost of living for the people by providing a choice of meals for breaking-of-fast at a low and affordable price," he said in a statement, Sunday.
He said this includes encouraging traders to provide various balanced food products based on the Rahmah Menu to visitors who attend the Ramadan Bazaars this year.
The BRR initiative is implemented through a strategic collaboration between KPDN and local authorities or the private sector without involving any cost implications to the government.
