
THREE men were killed after the car they were travelling in crashed into a road divider near the Balakong exit ramp of the Besraya Highway early this morning.
According to a statement from the Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department’s Operations Centre, an emergency call was received at 5.57am. Firefighters from the Sungai Besi Fire and Rescue Station, assisted by personnel from Bukit Jalil, were dispatched to the scene with a team of 10 and one FRT2 engine.
“Upon arrival at 6.07am, firefighters found that the accident involved a Toyota Vios believed to have lost control before hitting the road divider,” the statement said.
“There were three adult male victims trapped inside the vehicle. The rescue operation took nearly an hour before all victims were successfully extricated.”
However, all three were pronounced dead at the scene by medical personnel from the Ministry of Health Malaysia (KKM).
The operation was fully concluded at 7.29am, and the case has been handed over to the police for further action. - May 2, 2025
