TAWAU: Three people were killed in two separate accidents on Tuesday involving a woman and two men – a motorcyclist and his pillion rider.
Tawau OCPD ACP Jasmin Hussin said the first accident involved a pedestrian crossing the road at the Jalan Persisiran-Jalan Nusantara roundabout. She was hit by a minibus at 9.55am.
“The victim, a 30-year-old woman who had no identification papers on her, was reportedly killed on the spot due to head injuries after she was thrown two metres on the road.
