Elections to 80 wards of three municipal councils of Sirhind-Fatehgarh Sahib, Mandi Gobindgarh, Bassi Pathana and Nagar Panchayat Khamano in Fatehgarh Sahib district will be held on May 26, with a total of 1,24,733 voters set to exercise their right to franchise.
Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Sona Thind reviewed poll preparations at a meeting with officials of various departments. Polling will be held from 8 am to 5 pm on May 26 and the results will be declared on May 29.
