Three men electrocuted while installing solar equipment in Ranau

KOTA KINABALU - Three workers were killed after they were electrocuted while installing solar equipment at the Public Works Department (JKR) building in Ranau this morning.

Sabah Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM) said in a statement that the victims were identified as Gimbal, 25, Salleh, 34, and Wong, 54.

It added that all three were confirmed dead at the scene by health officials.

According to the statement, the department received a call at 10.46am and dispatched seven personnel to the scene.

Reports indicated that four workers were at the site, but one of them, identified as Dani, in his 20s, survived unharmed.

JBPM said the bodies have been handed over to the police. - BERNAMA
