Three people arrested after two cyclists killed in early-morning crash

  • Two cyclists have died and a third was injured after being struck by a car in the Kent village of Cobham on Sunday morning.
  • The incident occurred at around 7.47am on Sole Street when a white Ford Focus collided with the three riders.
  • A man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s were pronounced dead at the scene, while the third cyclist was treated in hospital for minor injuries.
  • Two men aged 20 and 21 have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, alongside a 19-year-old woman detained on suspicion of assisting an offender.
  • Kent Police's Serious Collision Investigation Unit is appealing for witnesses, dashcam footage, and private CCTV to come forward.
