A 19-year-old female student is unconscious in intensive care at the same hospital with internal brain bleeding and a cracked skull.

The third victim is a 22-year-old Indonesian canteen worker under observation at Sungai Buloh Hospital.

Media reported that a 24-year-old mechanical engineering student died from his injuries at Kuala Lumpur Hospital yesterday.

The air-conditioning gas explosion occurred at about 11.40 am in a maintenance area adjacent to a cafeteria on the university’s fourth floor.
