MetMalaysia warns of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds affecting six states and Labuan until 2pm.
KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a warning of thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds expected to affect six states and the Federal Territory of Labuan until 2 pm today.
In a statement, MetMalaysia said the adverse weather is forecast to affect Kerian, Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak in Perak; and Sabak Bernam and Kuala Selangor in Selangor.
Similar weather conditions are forecast in Jempol and Tampin in Negeri Sembilan; Alor Gajah and Jasin in Melaka and Kota Tinggi, Johor.
In Sabah, the affected areas are expected to be the Interior (Kuala Penyu and Beaufort), the West Coast (Papar, Putatan, Penampang, Kota Kinabalu, Tuaran and Kota Belud) and Kudat.
