SHAH ALAM - The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm and heavy rain warning for 10 states until 1am, Nov 14.
States affected are Kedah, Penang, Perak, Pahang, Selangor, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka, Johor and Sarawak.
In a statement, MetMalaysia said a thunderstorm is expected to hit Yan, Kuala Muda, Baling, Kulim and Bandar Baharu in Kedah.
Meanwhile, in Perak, the areas included are Kerian, Larut, Matang, Selama, Kuala Kangsar, Kinta, Kampar, Batang Padang, and Muallim.
Several districts in Pahang - Cameron Highlands, Lipis and Raub warned over bad weather.
In Selangor, areas affected are Kuala Selangor, Hulu Selangor, Klang, Gombak, Petaling Kuala Langat and Sepang, and Seremban, Port Dickson and Rembau for the districts in Negeri Sembilan.
Residents in Tangkak, Muar and Batu Pahat in Johor and Sri Aman and Betong in Sarawak are also advised to beware of the thunderstorm that will occur until late midnight.
