Thursday’s sport: What’s on and where can I watch it?

Ben Stokes will return as captain for England in their Rothesay Series decider against New Zealand at Trent Bridge.

Stokes and Gus Atkinson are both back in the side having been dropped for the second Test after breaking a midnight curfew at a London nightclub.

At the World Cup, Group E draws to a conclusion with Germany bidding to finish top with victory over Ecuador, while second-placed Ivory Coast take on Curacao.

Here is a guide to what is happening in the sporting world on Thursday, and where you can watch in the UK.

Ben Stokes and Gus Atkinson were both absent last week as England slumped to a 253-run defeat to New Zealand at The Oval, which levelled the series at 1-1.

At the Women’s T20 World Cup, India take on Bangladesh at Old Trafford and South Africa face the Netherlands in Bristol (Sky Sports Main Event 1830, Sky Sports Cricket 1900).

Hull finished one shot behind Korda to finish tied for second at the US Open – her fifth runner-up finish at a major – while Woad lost out in a play-off to Miyu Yamashita at the Meijer LPGA Classic last Sunday.
