There are still a lot of tickets left for next month’s numbered UFC event, but they won’t come cheap.

The build-up to Khamzat Chimaev vs Sean Strickland is bound to draw plenty of attention ahead of their middleweight title clash on May 9.

UFC 328 looks solid on paper, and this month’s event in Miami taking a hit has only helped the Newark card after Joshua Van’s flyweight title fight was moved.

But with two title fights and some intriguing matchups, many fans are still questioning whether the high ticket price is justified.

UFC 327 in Miami saw a sharp decline in live gate numbers compared to recent events and previous nights held at the same venue.

According to a post from Fight Opinion on X earlier today, UFC 328 at the Prudential Center is also facing challenges with ticket sales just two weeks out from fight night.

The card itself looks strong, featuring meaningful bouts and a main event between two of the biggest names on the roster.

This indicates that fans might be put off by ticket prices rather than the quality of the lineup.

The issue isn’t unique to UFC. It’s been raised in discussions about WWE, which also falls under the TKO Group umbrella.

WrestleMania 42 was recently held at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, marking a return to last year’s venue.

This year’s edition drew around 18,000 fewer fans over two nights compared to 2025, with many pointing to both rising ticket prices and concerns about product quality as factors behind the drop.
