TikTok launches Beauty Fest 2026 with creator-led masterclass

TikTok launched its 2026 Beauty Fest campaign with "Own Your Beautiful: The Glow Up Masterclass," marking the return of its flagship beauty initiative that highlights how Filipino creators and online communities continue to shape beauty trends and product discovery.

Now in its second year, TikTok Beauty Fest aims to showcase the ways Filipinos discover, express and define beauty through creators, community and digital content.

The event transformed online beauty inspiration into an interactive experience, allowing attendees to participate in skincare and makeup sessions while learning content creation techniques from some of the platform's beauty creators.

"Beauty on TikTok has evolved into more than just trends or tutorials—it has become a space where people can express themselves authentically and confidently, discover products that work for them, and connect with beauty communities around the world," said Zhi Wei Sok, general manager for Global Business Solutions, Singapore and the Philippines, at TikTok.

"Through TikTok Beauty Fest, we're bringing together creators, brands and communities to celebrate the many ways Filipinos define beauty while creating experiences that inspire discovery both on and off the platform," Sok added.

According to TikTok, 80% of beauty enthusiasts on the platform in the Philippines use it to discover brands and products, while more than half said they are likely to purchase items recommended by creators.

Among the featured speakers was creator Gia Abao (@gianna.abao), who discussed confidence, communication and self-expression. Known for educational content on public speaking and personal development, Abao encouraged attendees to embrace individuality through beauty and content creation.

The event also included a panel discussion, "Beauty Beyond the Shelf: How Communities, Creators, and Commerce Are Shaping the Future of Beauty," featuring representatives from Unilever and Dermorepubliq. Panelists discussed how brands are collaborating with creators and online communities to build consumer trust and encourage authentic conversations around beauty.

Beauty creator Pau "Chikana" Pelaez (@paupelaez_) then led the "Own Your Beautiful: The Glow Up Masterclass," demonstrating her skincare preparation routine before guiding participants through recreating her signature makeup look during the interactive Chikana Makeup Challenge. Host and beauty creator Bello Rodolfo (@bellerodolfo) joined Pelaez throughout the session, sharing beauty techniques, content creation tips and confidence-building advice.

The event also highlighted the growing role of TikTok Shop in beauty purchases. TikTok said 86% of beauty enthusiasts on the platform use TikTok Shop features, while 69% have purchased products through live commerce.

Through Beauty Fest, TikTok said it aims to continue supporting creators, strengthening beauty communities and expanding opportunities for consumers to discover products through content, live selling and creator recommendations.
