KOTA BELUD: Five Sabah-based TikTok Shop entrepreneurs were awarded the Sabah Aspiring Entrepreneur Award 2025 at the Tekun Madani Carnival held at Dewan Kadamaian Square on Thursday.
Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick presented the awards in recognition of Tekun entrepreneurs who have excelled in digital entrepreneurship through the TikTok Shop platform.
Ewon said the awards celebrate digital entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability to online marketing trends, while encouraging innovation and healthy competition.

The three-day Tekun Madani Carnival, a Tekun Nasional and TikTok Shop initiative, featured business exhibitions, live selling, traditional games, and entrepreneurship coaching aimed at bridging the rural digital divide.
