The 2026 World Cup is being held in North America across the USA, Canada and Mexico.
Of the three host nations, the USMNT have looked the most impressive so far, qualifying for the Round of 32 after just two games.
Granted, they did lose to Turkey in their final group game, but Mauricio Pochettino fielded a much-changed eleven. However, while the US have impressed the most to date, the ‘time traveller’ actually predicts it will be Mexico who wins the tournament.

Mexico predicted to win World Cup by beating Argentina in final
The Sun detailed the claims made by TikTok user ‘Tona Multiverso’, who says that he is a ‘time traveller’ and has travelled back in time.
He believes that the 2026 World Cup final, which is set to be held on July 19 at the New York New Jersey Stadium, will be played between Argentina and Mexico.
Argentina are the current holders and have enjoyed a prolific tournament so far thanks to the heroics of Lionel Messi.
But the ‘time traveller’ thinks the South American giants will come up short in the final, which will end 1-1 after extra time.
He also says that Lionel Messi’s side will miss the final spotkick in the penalty shootout, crowning Mexico as champions.
However, it is mentioned that at present, there is a strong chance that Mexico and Argentina will actually face off before the final.
The host nation have already won Group A, and Argentina have won Group J before playing their final game against Jordan thanks to the new head-to-head rule.
That, according to the Sun, means the pair could face off in the semi-finals, rather than the showpiece itself.
It is also worth pointing out that Mexico have never made it past the quarter-finals of a World Cup, last reaching that stage all the way back in 1986.
