Takehiro Tomiyasu has agreed a new deal with Arsenal.
The Japan defender currently has a contract running to 2025 with the option of another year.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting the agreement was reached two weeks ago over a new and improved deal.
An announcement is due shortly.
Tomiyasu has made 20 appearances (1,053 minutes) this season.
