You’ve spotted it all over TikTok—friends returning from Dubai with stacks of it, party guests whipping it out to instant “oohs,” and a craze so huge it sparked a global pistachio shortage. Now, the viral Dubai kunafa chocolate bar has landed in Singapore—here’s where to find it.

Dubai chocolate is a chocolate bar filled with pistachio and kadayif, a shredded filo pastry dough traditionally used to make a dessert called kunafa or knafeh. The confectionery was created by Fix Dessert Chocolatier in Dubai under the flavour, Can’t Get Kanfeh of It. It became famous on social media last year, partially thanks to its striking green filling oozing from the chocolate shell.

Several retailers here are importing the pioneering Dubai chocolate to Singapore. The Candy Store inside Tanglin Mall has different flavours and mini chocolates in 10 different flavours, and the SGFR Store offers the bestselling pistachio kunafa. Prices for the original are steep – The Candy Store has a minimum order and SGFR sells a bar for over 50 dollars, but the latter is now dabbling in a made-in-Singapore version. The international candy specialist also has similar products from Saudi Arabia and other parts of the UAE.

Singapore bakeries have also started making their own kunafa chocolate bar. Nova Bakehouse has flavours including strawberry shortcake, chempedak, and dulce de leche. Chocoelf remixes it with Speculoos and peanut butter, while Fitri Creations transforms it into a cake. Baskin-Robbins turns the viral dessert into ice cream and places it inside cakes and Japanese pancakes. For the easiest place to score one, head to 7-Eleven Singapore, which now sells knafeh chocolate bars straight from Dubai. Read on for the best bars to indulge in.
