A tornado tore through Sekinchan, lifting rooftops and causing significant damage as it moved across the area.

Early this morning, villagers in Sekinchan witnessed and captured footage of a tornado forming and traveling hundreds of meters.

Tornado tearing off rooftops

The video posted on Facebook, over two minutes long, shows the tornado tearing off rooftops from at least two houses.

According to videos, the tornado initially took shape over rice fields before rapidly moving across the landscape, heading toward nearby houses.

As the tornado passed through, roof tiles and debris were seen flying in all directions.

Gradually weaken

The strong winds not only lifted objects from the ground but also produced a loud whistling sound, adding to the chaos.

The tornado swept over a section of rice fields before hitting the roof of a house, causing severe damage.

Witnesses were left stunned by the destruction, but the tornado gradually began to weaken.

The entire tornado event, from formation to dissipation, lasted approximately two minutes. The debris lifted into the air eventually settled back into the rice fields.
