Tottenham boss Ange Postecooglou feels his squad is still two transfer windows away from where he wants it to be.
Postecoglou made tha admission when discussing his winger options.
He said, "To a certain extent. At the same time if you're looking at wingers, we've got a few you know. It's sod's law. You kind of get hit in these areas, and it's something that's happened to me in the past, you think you're well covered and then you get three injuries in the same area.
"We've got Ivan, Manor, Brennan Johnson and Bryan Gil who hasn't really trained. That's four pretty decent wingers. You'd go into the season thinking you're pretty well covered, with Kulusevski on the other side, Sonny can play on the other side, Richy can play wide.
"For me that's not really a squad issue, that's more the circumstances of what we're going through at the moment, but that's a separate fact from the fact that I still believe we need at least a couple of windows to get the squad to where we need it to be if our ambition lie in playing European football particularly.
"If we had European football these last few weeks it would have really tested us I think."
