Tottenham defender Micky van de Ven could so easily be playing for Olympique Marseille today.
Van de Ven joined Spurs over the summer and has been outstanding so far this season.
However, he admits a move to OM was almost made two years ago, telling Voetbal Primer: "Marseille is also a very big club.
"I received a call and then I took the plane with my father.
"So I saw Marseille as an option, but they did not agree with Volendam on the amount..."
