Follow live coverage as Tottenham Hotspur face AFC Bournemouth today in the Premier League. Another top-flight season will be covered in full right here with The Independent, as reigning champions Liverpool look to fend off competition from Arsenal, Manchester City and more.
The race for the Champions League places should also be a compelling battle, with a fifth place possible for English teams. Manchester United’s latest rebuild under Ruben Amorim sets expectations high once more after a dismal season last time out.
Meanwhile, it’s Burnley, Leeds United and Sunderland who made it back to the elite after promotion last year and each will have hope they can make it more than a one-year stay. Follow the latest live action from the Premier League below:

Frank has a fantastic record against Bournemouth from his time at Brentford. He has managed more Premier League games against Bournemouth without losing than against any other side (P6 W4 D2), while the only manager he’s beaten more often than Andoni Iraola (3) is David Moyes (5).

Bournemouth have made eight changes to the team that faced Brentford midweek. Only Petrovic, Diakite, and Scott retain their places from the defeat. However, Andoni Iraola’s 11 is unchanged from the one they used in their last league match. In fact, Bournemouth have started the same lineup across all three league games so far this season. New signings Ben Gannon-Doak, Amine Adil, and Eli Kroupi will all have to wait for their first Premier League starts.

Frank unsurprisingly names an unchanged Tottenham side from the one that beat Manchester City last week. Richarlison leads the line for the third successive Premier League match, with Solanke not even named on the bench, after Frank said he has a minor ankle injury. Both Destiny Udogie and Manor Solomon make the matchday squad for the first time this season, having both come back from injuries. Xavi Simons, who was announced yesterday, will be looking to make his debut next time out, as he was not registered in time and awaits a work permit.

Bournemouth have had a mixed start to their season. An impressive display at Liverpool on opening night ended in a 4-2 defeat, with late goals taking the game away from the Cherries. They then got back to winning ways, beating Wolves 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium. However, midweek they were knocked out of the EFL Cup, losing 2-0 at home to Brentford. Bournemouth are unbeaten in their last three games against Spurs (their longest run) and will be hoping that that run continues.

Thomas Frank has enjoyed somewhat of a dream start to life at Spurs in the Premier League. After a late collapse against PSG in the UEFA Super Cup, Spurs have enjoyed back-to-back league wins to begin the season. Last time out, they beat Manchester City 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium, in what was a comfortable and professional display. Brennan Johnson and Joao Pahlinha gave Spurs the two-goal lead before half time, as Spurs nullified any City threat and took home all three points. A win today will see Spurs climb to the top of the table and go into the first international break with a perfect record.
