Tottenham are launching a bid for Bayer Leverkusen defender Piero Hincapie.
BILD says Spurs have submitted an initial verbal offer of 25m to Bayer Leverkusen for the youngster.
However, Bayer are expected to turn the proposal down. Hincapi is tied to the Werkself until 2026, so there is no pressure to sell in Leverkusen.
Tottenham will need to up their bid if Bayer are to consider a sale this week.
In addition to Spurs, Chelsea also have the Ecuadorian on their list.
