Tottenham have made an offer for Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
With Barca eager for De Jong to accept a pay-cut, it's suggested he will be sold this summer if he refuses.
And Jijantes' Gerard Romero is reporting Spurs have acted and tabled a bid for the Holland international.
Spurs are offering 60m to Barca and also a four-year deal to De Jong, which matches his current 30m salary.
RAC-1 says Barca are eager for De Jong to agree to a wage reduction, dropping his salary closer to 15m.
Given the new demands, De Jong is now more open to leaving, when in the recent past he has twice rejected attempts by Barca to sell him to Manchester United.
