Tottenham are getting serious about signing Chelsea star Conor Gallagher today.
The London club are working to bring in the attacking midfielder for boss Ange Postecoglou.
Per The Mail, Spurs have put in a verbal offer of up to 40 million including add-ons.
The offer is very close to the valuation that Chelsea have set for Gallagher all summer.
Whether the two clubs can find an agreement in time, and Gallagher agrees to move, is unclear.
The all-action midfielder has previously resisted attempts by other clubs to prize him away from Chelsea permanently.
