Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino admits to some uncertainty about Conor Gallagher.

The English attacking midfielder is not a guaranteed starter at the club this season.

Despite getting minutes in early Premier League games, fans are concerned Gallagher will be on the outside when every player is fit.

Asked about the all action midfielder, Pochettino told reporters: All players involved in the squad are in our plans. After is a decision of two parts, of club and player. Always from the outside Conor is a consistent player than can play in different positions. We are so happy with him.

Circumstances happen in the past that we can say nothing, we can only express our feeling from day one and he has shown great commitment to the club. We are happy with him and he was captain two days ago against Wimbledon. He is an important player but what is going to happen in the future I don't know.

The players ask me 'how do you see myself in the future?'. I don't know, it's up to you. If you are the best you are going to play, even if we pay big money for a player. That is football. All players in the squad know they are going to play if the deserve to play. That is the thing that is happening now with the squad. In this cae you ask me, we are so happy with him, we hope he stays with us."
