Tottenham midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur is set to miss the rest of the season, pre-season, and the start of the new campaign.
The Uruguayan suffered an ACL injury during a recent 4-1 loss to Leicester City in the Premier League.
He has gone through with surgery for the problem, which means he is out until October or November.
Bentancur was in excellent form with Antonio Conte's side prior to the blow.
He played 26 games in all competitions for Spurs this season, managing six goals and two assists.
The North London side will now have to try and finish in the top four without him, per The Mail.
