Tottenham are aiming to secure the signing of RB Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol.
The 20-year-old was outstanding for Leipzig in his first season for the club after signing from Dinamo Zagreb a year ago.
According to respected journalist Nabil Djellit, Gvardiol is already a target for a host of top European clubs.
Spurs are the ones with the strongest interest at present, as they are aiming to land a top-class centre-half for manager Antonio Conte.
Gvardiol is a fast, ball playing defenders who ranks high for tackles, interceptions, and blocks in the Bundesliga.
However, Leipzig are loathe to sell him after one season, and will demand an astronomical fee.
