Tottenham are very close to agreeing a deal to sign Djed Spence from Middlesbrough.
The 21-year-old right-back spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest in the Championship.
He helped Forest gain promotion to the Premier League from the Championship playoffs.
Spurs and Boro have now reached a total agreement for his transfer, per The Athletic.
He will have his medical in the next 48 hours, before joining up with his new teammates for pre-season training.
Spence is likely to battle for the right-wing-back spot in manager Antonio Conte's system this season.
