Middlesbrough defender Djed Spence is set for a Tottenham medical.

Sky Sports says terms between the two clubs have been settled and Spence is in London for a medical today.

The fee agreed is for £9m down, which could rise to £15m in bonuses.

The 21 year-old spent last season on-loan with Nottingham Forest, helping them to Premier League promotion.

Spence will become Tottenham's sixth signing after Richarlison, Yves Bissouma, Ivan Perisic, Fraser Forster and Clement Lenglet.
