Tottenham are pursuing to secure Atletico Madrid star Yannick Carrasco.
The Belgian, who currently plays as a left-wing-back for Diego Simeone's team, is also capable of playing as an attacker on the left flank.
The Telegraph reports that Spurs are in discussions with Atleti about a possible deal for Carrasco.
However, the matter is complicated by the Spanish club losing Renan Lodi on loan to Nottingham Forest.
Carrasco and Lodi were battling to secure the back-up left-wing-back spot in Simeone's squad.
After letting Lodi go, it is unclear if the club will be willing to part with Carrasco as well.
Spurs boss Antonio Conte, however, wants to secure the Belgian as soon as possible.
