Kota Kinabalu: Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister Datuk Christina Liew has reminded tourists visiting Sabah of the appropriate attire and cultural norms in the State.
“Tourists should understand the local sensitivities (customs and traditions),” she said in a statement Thursday.
Her statement came in response to recent social media posts showing a traveller in a bikini standing next to her luggage in the city.
The photo which was said to have been taken a month ago only started making its round on social media recently.
