The Toyota Malaysia Pickle Tour 2026 has officially wrapped up its nationwide run, concluding an expansive multi-state series that engaged more than 1,500 participants across East and West Malaysia.
Organised by UMW Toyota Motor with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS), the Toyota Malaysia Pickle Tour 2026 has travelled through Sarawak, Sabah, Johor, and Penang before reaching its grand finale at the Playa Racquet Club in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Now in its second year, the event has grown into one of the country’s largest grassroots sporting showcases, giving Malaysians of all ages and backgrounds an accessible platform to compete in one of the world’s fastest-growing racquet sports.
A Cross-Generational Tournament with a RM175,000 Prize Purse
The nationwide series carried a total prize pool of RM175,000, attracting 637 adults and 289 junior competitors, alongside 177 participants who picked up fundamental skills through dedicated coaching clinics.

Reflecting Toyota’s broad vision of active mobility, the competitive categories welcomed young grassroots players starting from seven years old, while adult divisions featured veteran categories specifically for participants aged 50 and above.
Adult players entered under the tournament’s signature “Solo Entry. Team Glory.” concept. Participants registered as individual competitors and were grouped into teams named after Toyota’s vehicle portfolio, creating new community bonds on the court across men’s doubles, women’s doubles, mixed doubles, and senior mixed doubles matches.

Datuk Ravindran K., President of UMW Toyota Motor, noted that expanding the tour across both the Peninsula and Borneo brought the company’s “Mobility for All” philosophy to life, using community sports to connect people and promote active living.
