Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola wants Phil Foden to come out of his shell.
Guardiola and City have made it clear the young midfielder won't be leaving for loan.
"I would like him to talk more to me, but all the time I go to him and speak to him," Guardiola said after the 4-0 victory over Brighton.
"He still looks at me with a little too much respect, and after two or three seasons it's not necessary. But it's normal, he is 19.
I will decide when he plays. I don't know when, but that's going to happen because now we play an incredible amount of games."
