Ahmad Mukhlis Mokhtar, Assistant Director of Operations at the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department, reported that they received a distress call at 6:28 pm. In response, a team from the Kuala Kubu Bharu Fire and Rescue Station swiftly made their way to the scene to provide assistance.
Upon reaching the site, the rescue team encountered a grim scene—a Toyota Hilux four-wheel-drive had veered off the road and fallen into the ravine. Their immediate priority was to extract a trapped victim from the vehicle, which they managed to accomplish within a span of 10 minutes.
Despite their efforts, the 58-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The remaining four occupants of the vehicle were promptly transported to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
