Liverpool are hoping to swiftly add to the loan signing of Ronald Araujo by hashing out a deal for Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola after reaching a reported agreement over personal terms. Barcola leads Liverpool’s list of transfer targets and the Reds are in talks with PSG over a fee, though the European champions are demanding £145m to sell the winger.
Arsenal have offered Myles Lewis-Skelly to multiple Premier League clubs, including rivals Chelsea and Manchester United, but both clubs have reportedly turned down the chance to sign the teenager, who is believed to want to fight for his place despite increased competition. As reported by The Independent last week, there was a chance Arsenal would reconsider their position on Lewis-Skelly after completing the signing of Bruno Guimaraes.
Meanwhile, Ferran Torres appears set to swap Barcelona for PSG, while Rodri looks set to leave Manchester City amid interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid. The World Cup winning captain is into the final year of his contract and favours a move to Barca – who are considering a second bid after an initial offer of £38m was rejected. City seem to be making preparations for that outcome as they close in on the signing of World Cup breakout star Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille.

Youri Tielemans reveals he nearly joined Manchester United twice before

Arne Slot set to stay in club football
10:40 , Harry Latham-CoyleFormer Liverpool head coach Arne Slot walked away from talks about becoming the new Netherlands boss as he wants to remain in club football.
The Dutchman was sacked in May, 12 months after winning the Premier League, following a disappointing title defence that saw them finish fifth.
Slot was linked with taking over from Ronald Koeman, who resigned after their World Cup last-32 exit to Morocco, but did not get beyond an initial approach.
“At this stage in my career, I prefer to see myself on the training pitch with my players every day, something that is simply not possible in the same way with a national team,” he told Voetbal International.
“And (it is) why I chose not to continue the talks and not to start negotiations on what a possible contract might look like.
“I have enormous respect for the national team and for the KNVB (Dutch Football Association) and can only be positive about the professional manner in which the talks proceeded that week. For now, I believe club football still has a lot to offer me.”

The Netherlands international, who joined Corinthians on a two-year deal in 2024, said the Brazilian club had withdrawn a previously agreed contract extension.
He wrote on social media: “This renewal was explicitly agreed upon by the president as well as the sporting, legal and financial department. Some people decided however to breach this engagement.
“I didn't want this situation and always respected the club throughout the process, but now I am forced to react strongly in order to preserve my interests.
“In the upcoming days I will speak publicly but rest assured that I will not leave this unacceptable behaviour unsanctioned.”
