KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 30 — The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) today issued an advisory on a tropical depression in the South China Sea that may bring strong winds and rough seas.

The system was detected at 11am at latitude 6.7°N and longitude 109.4°E, about 518km northwest of Mukah, Sarawak.

MetMalaysia said the depression was moving northeast at 19km/h with maximum sustained winds of 46km/h. — Bernama
