WASHINGTON - United States (US) President Donald Trump said on Monday that he will revoke nearly 80 executive actions of the previous Biden administration, Anadolu Agency reported.

"I'll revoke nearly 80 destructive and radical executive actions of the previous administration, one of the worst administrations in history,” Trump told his supporters at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.

Trump was sworn in for a second term in office, heralding a major shift in the US government that is widely expected to send shockwaves through American society and the world.

The president also announced that he will sign pardons for defendants charged in the Jan 6, 2021 attack on the US Capitol.

"Tonight, I’m going to be signing on the J-6 hostages’ pardons to get them out. And as soon as I leave, I’m going to the Oval Office, and we’ll be signing pardons for a lot of people,” he said. - Bernama
