Kota Kinabalu: Tuaran-based Tiger Academy futsal team will represent the country to compete in the 2025 International Futsal Cup tournament in Brunei starting today.
They are one of the five teams that received invitations to take part in the two-day competition. The other teams are from Brunei, Indonesia and Sarawak.
Head coach Azman Soaibah said it is a great opportunity to measure the team’s capabilities on the international stage, as well as to expose the young players to gain valuable experience and is hopeful they will give their best in the tournament.
He also said the management expressed their appreciation for the invitation and the support from all the parties involved including the parents.
