Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel was not sold on signing Gabriel Jesus from Manchester City.

The Brazilian forward has enjoyed an excellent start to life at Arsenal, with the North London club currently top of the Premier League.

Tuchel, who was sacked by Chelsea this week and replaced by Graham Potter, is said to have been indecisive about signing Jesus this summer.

According to The Athletic, Tuchel was initially hesitant about signing any centre-forward in the market.

He then did want a striker, but had a preference for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who he worked with at Borussia Dortmund.

Tuchel did not get along with Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly.
